Lydia Annabel Smith of Summerville, South Carolina and George Michael Rabon of Aiken, South Carolina were married at St. Paul's Church in Summerville on June 15, 2013. The Rev. John Scott officiated.
The bride is the daughter of J. Foster and Patricia Smith of Summerville. She was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a strapless ball gown with a sweetheart neck and jeweled detailing at the waist. She was attended by her maid of honor Irene Rose Smith and bridesmaids
Christal DeBoer, sister of the bride, Jessica Smith, sister-in-law of the bride and Emily Fox, friend of the bride. The bridal attendants wore strapless floor-length watermelon chiffon gowns.
The flower girl was Audrey Anne DeBoer and the ring bearer was Paul Robert DeBoer III
The groom is the son of Rodney and Paige Rabon of Aiken. His father stood as his best man.
Groomsmen were William Rabon, Charles Rabon, Jennings Smith and John Lawrence Holliday. Ushers were James Rabon and Andrew Rabon.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late C. Eugene and Irene McCarthy of Rockville Centre, New York; and the late P. Frank and Annabel Smith of Summerville.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Wallace Rabon Sr. of Aiken; and
Mr. and Mrs. William Saville Lackland of Columbia.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Northside Christian School and a 2012 graduate of Charleston Southern University. She is employed with Second Presbyterian Church, Dorchester County Mental Health, and Summerville Music Academy
The groom is a 2006 graduate of South Aiken High School and a 2010 graduate of Clemson University. He is employed with Hancock Askew and Co. LLP.
The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica and will make their home in Savannah, Georgia.
