Parks Field American made a clean sweep at the 2013 South Carolina Dixie Youth Baseball AAA Minors (age 9-10) District 7 Sub District A Tournament.
The team went 3-0 in the tournament to advance to the District 7 Championship Tournament scheduled for July 8-13 at Pepperhill. Parks Field American notched wins over the Carolina League, Bonneau and Moncks Corner all-star teams during the sub-district tournament held at the Carolina League/Alston Middle School fields.
The top two teams from the sub-district advance to District 7 tournament and the second berth was settled in the final game last weekend. Moncks Corner edged out Carolina by a 2-1 margin to finish the tournament with a 2-1 record.
Carolina finished at 1-2 and Bonneau finished at 0-3.
