Miss Summerville Catherine Fox, a native of Summerville will be competing for the Miss South Carolina title on July 13th. She will be heading to Columbia this Friday the 5th to start the kickoff to her pageant week as she competes in interview, talent, onstage question, bathing suit and evening gown. During the week Fox will compete in the preliminary rounds where they will cut down to the top 15 on the final night of July 13th. With that, there is a sixteenth position that is awarded to the people's choice winner. The public gets to vote for their favorites in hopes that they will win this position. This is where you can help! There are two ways to help out, one way is by going onto Fox's Facebook page "Miss Summerville 2013 Catherine Fox". Click the Miss South Carolina people's choice link, this will take you directly to the voting page. There you will need to find Fox's picture and click the vote button. Enter in your information and submit! Another way to help, for those who do not Facebook you can go to fourpointsmagazine.com/miss-south-Carolina-people-choice-awards. There you will need to find Fox's picture, click the vote button and put in your information. It's a dollar a vote, all proceeds go to the scholarship program that benefits the contests. If you wish to watch the competition it will be airing live online at www.miss-sc.org.
