Targeted
 
On July 18, Summerville Police responded to The Lakes of Summerville on Travelers Blvd., for multiple thefts from buildings owned by Cherokee Valley Homes. Thieves entered by unscrewing the hinges of doors. From each of the residences Kenmore ranges, microwaves, and dishwashers were stolen. Value from four residences is $3033.
 
Brazen
 
On July 22 around 9:45 p.m., a robber walked behind the counter at the Pan Supper Buffet on Dorchester Rd., in Summerville, turned the key in the cash register and emptied it of approximately $500 in cash. A waitress witnessed the event, according to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office. A diner in the restaurant told police the suspect was a thin white male, possibly in his 20s wearing a gray winter hat. However, the waitress described the suspect as a fat white male, clean-shaven wearing a black tee shirt and a hat. The suspect vehicle was described as a red Toyota Corolla.
 
Help yourself
 
Two ATVs with the keys left in them, were stolen from a residence at Summer Park on Breckinridge Dr., in Summerville, July 18. The victim told Summerville Police that the ATVs were in the garage and the garage door was left open. One ATV was a green 2007 Yamaha Grizzly and the other a 2013 red Honda Four Trax Recon TRX 250.
