Summerville Police has issued a warrant for the arrest of Brandee Busser, 19, of Summerville for Unlawful Conduct Towards a Child.
At some point between July 26 at 8 p.m. and July 27 at 12:30 a.m., Busser shut a 16-month-old baby in a closet and left the house, leaving the child unattended, not returning until 4 a.m. on July 27 when she returned home.
Police contacted the Department of Social Services, which remanded the child to its grandparents’ custody.
