Lions induct new members

The Summerville Evening Lions Club recently held an initiation ceremony for new membersThe Summerville Evening Lions Club was chartered in June, 2009 with a membership of 32.  The local club participates with Lions Club International in world wide projects and South Carolina Lions in state wide projects, but continues to focus its efforts on local needs.  Lions Club International has made more than $200 million in grnats to the SightFirst Program, humanitarian services and disaster relief.  To date there are more than 44,000 clubs with 1.4 million members in over 200 countries.
