Benjamen Jermaine Brown


Editor’s note: According to information provided Wednesday by the Summerville Police Department, the following suspects were still at large. All photos provided by reporting agency.
Name: Bernard D’Andre Magwood
Age: 24
Description: Black male, 5’ 11”, 150 pounds
Last known address: 505 Lakeshore Drive, Walterboro
Wanted for: Forgery                          
Wanted by: Summerville Police Department
Wanted since: August 6, 2013
Investigators allege: Magwood presented a stolen check to the Wells Fargo Bank on Bacons Bridge Rd., in the amount of $150. The checks were stolen from a residence while being cleaned by Sand Dollar Dusters by which Magwood was employed. Bank supplied video surveillance showing the subject and his driver’s license were provided  by Wells Fargo. Magwood has prior convictions for forgery and shoplifting.

Last known address: 3208 Florida Ave., North Charleston
Wanted for: Defrauding a Federally Insured Institution (Bank Fraud)
Wanted by: Summerville Police Department
Wanted since: June 6, 2013
Investigators allege: Brown went to the First Federal Bank and cashed a check for $793.18 belonging to Horizon Landscape Management. Video surveillance shows Brown presenting his driver’s license, and obtaining cash for the check.
