Delta Sigma Theta holds retreat

The Summerville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated held a two day annual summer retreat on August 9 &10, at Brosnan Forest. Delta Sigma Theta is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities. The Summerville Alumnae Chapter has 122 members. During the Retreat, members gathered to plan the chapter’s community service activities for the upcoming year (2013-2014) as well as reflect on accomplishments during the 2012-2013 sorority year.  Sorors Cynthia Bell and Jade Howard served as the retreat’s facilitators, and Pamela Goodwine-Glover is the Summerville Alumnae Chapter’s current President.  www.summervilledst.org
