Tools from school
Summerville High School maintenance reported to Summerville Police that a Dewalt power drill, valued at $100, and stored in the locked maintenance room, was missing
Hotel lots hit
A woman staying at the County Inn & Suites on Holiday Drive reported to Summerville Police that her car was broken into and her GPS stolen along with a construction calculator and two cartons of cigarettes. The side and rear passenger windows were smashed. Police noticed other vehicles had also been broken into.
Stealing from kids
Summerville Police responded to the Piggly Wiggly on Cedar Street in reference to the theft of a “kiddie cart” taken on August 12 at 4:15 p.m. The complainant told police a customer told him that three subjects – a male and two females – had taken the cart from the parking lot. The witness was able to give police a description of the subjects, their car and the tag number.
