Rivertowne came in first with 44 points during the 10th match of the Charleston Area Men’s Interclub Golf Association.
Host club Berkeley was the runner-up for the Sept. 9 match with 36 points and Wescott was third with 33. Trailing were Legend Oaks (32), Miler and Stono Ferry (29), Dunes West (26), Coosaw Creek (22), Charleston Municipal (21), Charleston National and Shadowmoss (19), Pine Forest (9) and Crowfield (6).
The top individual score came from John Gaag of Coosaw Creek who finished with 15 points. George Svagerko of Berkeley placed second with 12 points and four players tied for third place with 11 points.

This month’s match tightened up the yearlong race with Wescott pulling within 3.5 points of Coosaw Creek in the standings. Coosaw now has 96 points while Wescott has 92.5. Trailing are Miler (82), Pine Forest (81), Charleston National (77), Berkeley (66.5), Dunes West (66.5), Dunes West (66.5), Crowfield (65), Rivertowne (65), Charleston Municipal (63.5), Legend Oaks (63), Shadowmoss (63) and Stono Ferry (49).
The next match is scheduled for 9 a.m. Oct. 7 at Shadowmoss.
