First grade teacher Gwen Rodgers – CSU – and her class celebrate going to college, when faculty members at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School wore their college colors August 30 to celebrate National College Colors Day. Along with a tee-shirt, they brought their college diplomas to share with students what expectations and focus are needed to attain a college degree. A wide array of local colleges and universities were represented as well as ones from across the U.S. The students, wearing shirts from their favorite colleges, enjoyed hearing what their teachers had to share.
