From left, Alston Middle School Principal Thad Schmenk, 7th grade teacher Pren Woods, Lataya Campbell, Christina Marshall and Cody Brunner present their work on capitalism to the Board of Trustees Tuesday. The class used the Summerville Farmers’ Market as their real life example. Because family and friends accompanied students to the market, the students brought in 242 people to the market, many who had never been.
