Teen assaulted, robbed, jailed

  • Wednesday, November 6, 2013

A 17-year-old told Summerville Police that on Oct. 29 he was on Brookhaven Way to visit a friend at Brookhaven when his friend and two others pulled up in a small white two-door car with tinted windows and the passenger jumped out, pointed a black handgun at him and struck him on the left side of his head causing him to fall to the ground.

The victim told police he remembers getting up and discovering his belt, his new jacket with tag still attached, ball cap and cell phone were all gone and the car was driving toward Beverly Dr.

Police searched for the suspects but were unable to locate them. The victim had an outstanding warrant against him and was transported to jail.
