Cars, house, everything

Dorchester County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Red Hill Ct., in Summerville Nov. 12, in response to a burglary. The complainant told police the thieves had come through the bathroom window and stolen $13,150 worth of items including jewelry, laptops, a Bose surround sound DVD player, Playstation…from the house. Then the thieves stole a Pioneer navigation stereo, an amplifier, sub woofer speakers and other music equipment from his vehicle.

Video surveillance shows a black pickup backing into the driveway, two men exiting, wearing masks, gloves, and plastic bags over their shoes.

Police are investigating.

Brazen burglars

A man told Dorchester County Sheriff’s deputies that while he was burning yard debris behind a residence on Richter Dr. in Tranquil Acres, Summerville, and back and forth between his house and the residence, someone broke into the residence and stole household goods, Nov. 17. Deputies noted a window in the door had been broken and the door forced open.

Kids toy, snack stolen

Summerville Police responded to Summer Place Apartments, Nov. 8, in reference to a complaint about a neighbor going into the complainant’s vehicle and stealing his child’s Leap Frog Pad Learning Tablet and several bags of chips.

The neighbor allowed police to speak with his son, who the complainant said he had seen in the vehicle, but the ten denied taking anything.
