Blue Star mothers, families send boxes of love

Tricounty Blue Star Mothers and Families mailed 45 big boxes filled with 823 Christmas Stockings to U.S. Troops stationed in Afghanistan, North Korea and Italy on Dec. 4. The group also mailed four Flat Rate Boxes filled with candy and books for a grand total of 2056 pounds.

The group consists of mothers of sons and daughters and spouses that have been deployed.
