During Beech Hill’s annual Cultural Arts Week, students spend time with various Artists learning their crafts.  This year, Beech Hill hosted various artists including a professional Storyteller, African Dancers and a Native American Flute Maker. A highlight of the week included several days with Henrietta Snype, who spent the week with 3rd grade students teaching them the art of sweetgrass basket weaving.  Students wove their own creations to take home.  Pictured here is Ms.Snype and Erin Query’s 3rd grade students.  Provided
