Taylor Lee Anton, 25, of Summerville, died Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Medical University of South Carolina after a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Summerbrook Community Church, 676 Orangeburg Road, Summerville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideonís International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37124.

Taylor was born September 2, 1988 in Chesapeake, Virginia, son of Charles Lee Anton of Summerville and Donna Smarr (Richard) of Columbia. He was a graduate of Ridgeview High School and he was an accomplished musician.

Surviving in addition to his parents are: one sister: Marah Anton of Charleston, two step-sisters: Elizabeth Storch of Sumter and Caroline Smarr of Columbia, two step-brothers: Andrew Smarr and William Smarr both of Columbia, Aunts and Uncles: Karen Cafaro of Georgetown, Janet Ross of Lillington, NC, Charles Sellers of Lumberton, NC and Sandy and Jim Huggins of Virginia Beach, VA, two cousins: Cassidy Ross of Lillington, NC and Robert Cafaro of Georgetown.
