Yaxis, Cochran announce 2013 wedding plans

Sarah Ann Yaxis and Charles William Cochran II

Douglas Earl Yaxis, Jr. and Michelle Ann Yaxis originally from Rochester, New York and now residing in Summerville, South Carolina, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah Ann Yaxis to Charles William Cochran II of Charleston, South Carolina.
Mr. Cochran is the son of William Raymond Cochran and Judith Rattray Cochran of Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Summerville High School and a 2005 graduate of The University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography. She was awarded her Master of Arts in Teaching from The Citadel in 2011.
She is employed with Dorchester District 2 Schools as a teacher at Ashley Ridge High School.
The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Cedarburg High School and a 2005 graduate ofThe University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He graduated from The University of South Carolina School of Law in 2008.
He is employed with the Charleston County Public Defender's Office
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Elmer Smith andAnna Grace WallTaillie; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Earl andGertrude Imelda KanaleyYaxis Sr., all of Rochester, New York.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Elizabeth Manilla Frings Rattray ofGrafton, Wisconsinand the lateThomas Hugh Rattray; and the late Mr. And Mrs. Paul Raymond andHelen Gertrude FisherCochran of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
The wedding is planned for February 23, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Charleston.
