Sarah Anne Langdale and Scott Saunders Bynum, both of Brooklyn, New York, were married in the spring of this year at the Circular Congregational Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
The Reverend Burt Keller officiated at the March 31, 2012 wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E Langdale of Isle of Palms, South Carolina. She was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a V-neck Alencon lace trumpet dress with three tiers and a chapel-length train. The bride’s attendants wore light blue chiffon, knee-length dresses
Serving as maid of honor was Leah Langdale; matron of honor was Kristin Bynum Haile.
Bridesmaids were Christa Bauer, Liza Irvin, Jamie McCollum and Kate Wright. The honorary bridesmaids were Jessica Bean, Emily Yaden and Katelyn Miller.
The flower girl was Maggie Miller and the ring bearer was Carson Heikkinen.
Standing as the groom’s best man was Josh Johnson.
Groomsmen were Ben Eachus, Nick Fall, Matt Lauria, Alex Velinsky, Shaun Wahl and Caleb Heikkinen. Ushers were Andrew McConnon, Matt Veckman, and Eric Weiss.
The bride is the granddaughter of Anne Speissegger Davis and the late Loyd F. (Pete) Davis of North Charleston, South Carolina; and the late Dr. Emory L. Langdale and the late Mitzy Langdale of Walterboro, South Carolina.
The groom is the grandson of the late George Leo Lowry and the late Dorothy Robinson Lowry of Charleston; and the late William Saunders Bynum and the late Doris Charping Bynum of Greenville, South Carolina.
The couple honeymooned in the Seychelles and South Africa.
They have made their home in Brooklyn, New York.
