Early Release Day

  • Thursday, November 22, 2012

The Administrative Team at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary held a meeting with the entire third grade on a recent Early Release Day in the cafeteria.  All classes were dropped off by their homeroom teachers and left in the cafeteria for high quality instruction led by Principal Vernisa Bodison, Interim Assistant Principal Donna Clark, Title I Facilitator Taddy Thomas, ITS Pam Inabinett, and Guidance Counselors Tori Alford and Cara Jones. They performed a short skit on the writing process, using giant pencil props that Ms. Bodison had acquired recently. Ms. Bodison led the students through the process with a question and answer session, emphasizing the reality that achieving Exemplary on PASS is possible for all students.  Ms. Bodison and her team said they were very impressed by some of the higher-level words and thought processes the students were using.
