United States Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) has been named to five committees, including the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.
“I look forward to working with my new colleagues to find the solutions the American people need right now,” Scott said. “By getting our spending under control, revamping our tax code and energizing the entrepreneurial spirit, we can show our children and grandchildren the American Dream is alive and well. We have a great future ahead of us; now it is time to get to work and make it a reality.”
Senator Scott’s committee assignments for the 113th Congress are as follows:
• Commerce, Science, and Transportation
• Health, Education, Labor and Pensions
• Energy and Natural Resources
• Small Business
• Aging
Additionally, Scott’s temporary Washington office is located at 117 Hart Senate Office Building, Washington, DC, 20510. The office will be located there for 30-60 days until a permanent space becomes available.  Constituents may contact the office via phone at (202) 224-6121. An online contact form will be available at http://scott.senate.gov in the coming days.
