Carnival for Corrin

  • Monday, January 14, 2013

Students in Jen Wilde’s 4th grade class attended the Carnival for Corrin and posed with the Birthday Boy, Corrin Jamison.
Beech Hill Elementary School hosted a birthday party for one of their own on Wednesday December 19th.  Five year old, Corrin Jamison, battles Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 and his life expectancy was only 2 years. Corrin celebrated with 1200 of his closest friends as Kindergarten through 5th graders rotated through the “Carnival for Corrin”.  Students jumped in jump castles, enjoyed popcorn and made birthday cards in honor of Corrin’s miraculous life. Due to the large medical expenses required for Corrin’s constant care, his family is struggling to make ends meet and provide quality care for Corrin – the Beech Hill Family presented Corrin’s family with a check to help with medical costs.
