Only ten days away from the 2012 Taste of Home Cooking School on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Charleston Southern University’s Lightsey Chapel. Hundreds of attendees will enjoy a live cooking demonstration, exhibits and samples from local merchants, a FREE goody bag and awesome door prizes!

Culinary specialist, Michelle Roberts, returns to the stage as she demonstrates several recipes from the Spring menu. Roberts is a crowd favorite who has entertained and educated so many with her cooking demonstrations.

"I've attended the Taste of Home Cooking School for the past several years.  I've enjoyed the lively and entertaining cooking demonstrations by Chef Michelle Roberts.  I've always learned new techniques and cooking short-cuts each time I've attended,” says Ferol Lovelady of Goose Creek.

This year attendees will also enjoy new emcee, Terry Haas of HGTV’s “Design to Sell.”  Terry, who began her real estate career in Atlanta, now lives in Charleston where she has her own real estate and home-staging consulting business.  Terry loves cooking at home for her husband and two children and is also looking forward to bringing home some great tips from the show.

“I’m a working mom so I need simple, easy, prepare-ahead meals.  I’m excited to learn tips from Michelle on cutting corners, saving time and still making a great meal,” says Haas.
