Sheldon, Gaillard marry in summer ceremony
Sarah Richrath Sheldon of Summerville, South Carolina and Christopher Bennett Gaillard of Columbia, South Carolina were married on July 14, 2012 at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Dr. Daniel W. Massie officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Burtis Sheldon of Summerville, South Carolina. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The groom is the son of Mrs. William Michael Johnson of Holly Hill, South Carolina and Mr. William Snowden Gaillard II of Eutawville, South Carolina.
The bride’s matrons of honor were Louise Sheldon Marsaa and Elizabeth Sheldon Watson both of Atlanta, Georgia.
Serving as her bridesmaids were Ellen Perry Clark of Fairfax, Virginia; Ann Estelle Rice Ervin of Charleston, South Carolina; Caroline Eliza Evans of Birmingham, Alabama; Samantha Ann Satz of New York, New York; and Suzanne Perry Wallis of Richmond, Virginia.
The groom’s best man was Kirk Hamel Walters of St. George, South Carolina.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Perry, Jr. of Summerville; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Esleeck Sheldon Jr. of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Adolphus Daniel Bennett and the late Mr. Adolphus Daniel Bennett of Holly Hill; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kirk Gaillard of Eutawville.
