Kelsey Joy Thorpe of Summerville, South Carolina and Dustin Allen Gates of Erwin Tennessee were married July 7, 2012 at the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City, Tenn.
Larry Garland officiated.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom
The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Robin Freshwater of Summerville, South Carolina. She was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a Diamond white satin gown with princess neckline and cathedral-length train.
Serving as maid of honor was Amanda Altman. The bridesmaid was Bryce Freshwater, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids wore rose pink floor-length gowns.
The groom is the son of Carl and Wanda Hoffman of Bonneau, South Carolina.
The groom’s best man was Austin Smith. Dalton Honeycutt served as the groomsman.
The bride is the granddaughter of Carl and Wanda Hoffman of Bonneau; and Margaret Freshwater Colliers, of West Virginia.
The groom is the grandson of Phyllis Smith and Bud Smith, both of Erwin.
The couple honeymooned in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They will make their home in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
