Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School recently held its annual Spelling Bee for the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classes. Two representatives from each homeroom and Reading Support classes competed in front of their peers, teachers, and parents. The top three finishers from each grade level were awarded trophies and pencils. This annual event is coordinated by Read 180 and System 44 teachers Andznetta Bradley, Millie May and Jodi Caruso. Although only the 5th grade winners go on to compete in the District Two Spelling Bee, it is a great educational experience for the other grades to participate. Pictured are First, Second and Third Place finishers from 5th grade, Heather Pigford, Makayla Desargent and Kristina Briz.
