Town names doubles champions

  • Monday, January 14, 2013

Rain delayed the Town of Summerville’s second annual Thanksgiving Tennis Tournament, but eventually champions were named in 10 different divisions.
The tournament was scheduled for Nov. 17-18 but the weather didn’t cooperate and town officials had to work around the holiday weekend so matches were spread out over the next few weeks.
Contestants in the tournament, held at the Doty Park courts, competed in men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles divisions.
