Santa and his Top Shelf Elf visited Summerville to attend the first Breakfast with Santa Ho-Ho-Hosted by the Summerville Journal Scene on December 8 in front of Town Hall. More than 700 people flocked to this first-time event to meet Santa and his Top Shelf Elf, enjoy breakfast from Ladles, participate in craft activities and enjoy storytelling from Mayor Bill Collins.
"Breakfast with Santa was truly a magical experience for so many families. We decided to host this event for the first time because we couldn't imagine Santa not visiting Summerville. Having the event right in the middle of Downtown Summerville in front of Town Hall made it even more special, " says Chris Zoeller, Santa's Helper.
Local businesses partnered with the Journal Scene's Breakfast with Santa, including North Pole Presenting Sponsor Century 21 Properties Plus. Breakfast was generously provided by Ladles along with coffee and cocoa from Coastal Coffee Roasters. Kids enjoyed fun craft activities thanks to Santa's Workshop Sponsors First Citizens, Reagin Orhtodontics, Tony Pope- State Farm Insurance and Trina Woods, Realtor. Mayor Bill Collins and the Town of Summerville provided the venue to host Breakfast with Santa. Paul Zoeller Photography took photos of the 200 families visiting Santa.
"From the bottom of our heart, we thank our partners and many volunteers for making Breakfast with Santa even possible. This event could not have happened without the support and enthusiasm of the community!" says Zoeller.
