A lone suspect robbed a Summerville bank early this afternoon.
According to Capt. Jon Rogers of the Summerville Police Department, occurred at around 2:50 p.m. today when a man entered the First Citizens Bank at 1319 North Main Street and demanded money. The suspect did not display any weapons and left with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male 30-40 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 250 pounds, Rogers said. One customer was inside the bank at the time of the robbery but one was injured, Rogers said.
