St. Paul’s to host oyster roast, chili cook-off

On Sat., Feb. 9 at 6 p.m., St. Paul’s Summerville will have their third annual oyster roast and chili cook-off to raise funds for the Honduras Mission Team.
Tickets are $25 for oysters, $10 for chili and hotdogs only and $5 for children under 11 years old.
Each year St. Paul’s sends a team of youth and adults to the LAMB Institute in Tegucilgapa, Honduras. The team does construction work, brings 100’s of pairs of shoes, and spends time playing and laughing with the children of the orphanage.
There will be a chili cook-off competition and tasting, hot dogs, and great fellowship. Beverages and s’mores will be available. No coolers please. The community is invited to attend, but tickets must be purchased in advance. Call 873.1991 by Monday, Feb. 4 to purchase your tickets.
