Mr. O’Brien was born April 14, 1924 in New York City, New York a son of the late Corneilius and Margaret O’Brien.† Mr. O’Brien was a mechanical engineer who proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving a tour of duty in Europe during World War II.
He is survived by a daughter: Kathy Duffey of Summerville and her three children: Christopher, Daniel and Kimberly; and a son: Kevin O’Brien (Alma) of New Milford, CT and his two children: Ashley and Kelly and one great-grandson: Brayden of Summerville.† He was predeceased by two sons: Michael O’Brien of New Haven, CT and Sean O’Brien of Darien, CT.
Memorial services will be private.

John George O’Brien, 88, of Summerville passed away Tuesday at his home.
Mr. O’Brien was born April 14, 1924 in New York City, New York a son of the late Corneilius and Margaret O’Brien.† Mr. O’Brien was a mechanical engineer who proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving a tour of duty in Europe during World War II.
