Dorchester County -- The Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation and USDA- SC Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are conducting an educational workshop on preserving heir’s property and NRCS programs that benefit local farmers and landowners.
Everyone is welcome. This FREE workshop is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, February 28th in the Ridgeville Town Hall (105 School Street in Ridgeville) from 6-8:00PM. Refreshments will be provided.
Experts will conduct an in-depth discussion on land ownership issues (including heirs’ property), on best sustainable farming practices, improving produce markets, creating conservation easements, farm financing and maximizing agricultural output.
Learn how to protect your land and take advantage of the NRCS services, programs and practices to help you start a successful agricultural or timbering enterprise on your land or to improve on what you are already doing. This workshop is the result of a cooperative outreach agreement between the Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation and SC USDA-NRCS.
