Be on the lookout for Girl Scout Cookie booths
A great surprise may be waiting for you at your local grocery store, favorite restaurant or popular retailer – Girl Scout cookies!
Girl Scouts will begin setting up Friday outside local businesses to offer buyers the opportunity to enjoy their favorite cookies through March 17 before they’re gone until next year. Finding a booth is easy – there’s an app for that! With girls becoming more tech savvy every day, the cookie sale now features mobile and online components to help buyers find cookies and learn more about the sale. The official Girl Scout cookie app is available for Apple and Android operating systems at girlscoutcookies.org. The website also includes a booth sale locator; simply type in your zip code and list of booth sale locations will be provided.
Cookies available for purchase include the Mango Creme, featuring vanilla- and coconut- flavored cookies paired with a mango-flavored cream filling. Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Peanut Butter Patty, Lemonades, Thanks-A-Lots and Shortbread will also be on sale.
Purchases of Girl Scout cookies go to benefit girls in your community. It’s amazing what a box of cookies can do, such as funding camp for inner-city children, cheering up soldiers overseas and helping girls learn the importance of managing money.
