Small earthquakes rumble through Sunday
Two low magnitude temblors shook the general area around Summerville and Ladson Sunday, causing no damage, according to data from the U.S. Geological Survey.
The first one occurred about 2 a.m. near Ladson. It registered about a 1.5 on the Richter scale, according to the USGS. The second occurred later that evening, about 2 miles from Summerville around 6 p.m. and registered a 1.4 on the Richter scale.
No damage was reported. Anything under a 2.0 is considered a microquake and is unlikely to be felt by anyone, according to the U.S.G.S.
