Summerville bank robbed Thursday afternoon
Police are looking for a man they sat robbed a bank about 3:45 p.m. Thursday.
According to Capt. Jon Rogers of the Summerville Police Department, a lone suspect entered the Foirst Federal Bank located at 1314 North Main Street in Summerville and demanded cash. He did not show any weapon, however, he did say he had a bomb, Rogers said.
He then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.
No one was injured in the incident, Rogers said.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'-5'3” tall and about 130 pounds, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt and shorts.
The Summerville Police Department is asking for help in identifying and locating the suspect. Anyone with any information should call 851-4100.
