It was his second goal of the season.

While only one shot found the net, each team did create scoring opportunities.
“Ashley Ridge took some really nice shots tonight,” Dos Santos said. “They came close a couple of times but we played our best game of the season so far. Ashley Ridge is stiff competition so I’m proud of my team.”
Ashley Ridge striker Sean Siehl had a shot sail just wide five minutes into the game and midfielder Manuel Enciso made a nice left-footed shot in stoppage time for the first half that was just off its mark.
Fort Dorchester’s Pablo Valenzuela and Zikeem Smith both took a shot that was just of its mark in the first half and Sandoval headed a pass from Reilly Ashton for a near Fort goal but Swamp Fox keeper Stockton Blanchard made a nice save.
With 25:25 remaining in the second half, Siehl sent a hard shot into the center of the crossbar. Later in the game Ashley Ridge striker Anson Girone made the Fort fans a bit uneasy with a pair of shots that were both just a tad high.
The Patriots continued to be aggressive after they took the lead and got some more good looks at the goal. Valenzuela had one of the better scoring opportunities for the Fort with just more than four minutes remaining but his shot sailed wide.
