Physicians at Charleston Ear, Nose & Throat Associates are pleased to announce the opening of The Hearing and Balance Institute at Charleston ENT, headquartered in West Ashley at 2295 Henry Tecklenburg Drive, with satellite offices in eight other tri-county locations. The new multidisciplinary center diagnoses and treats all hearing and balance dysfunctions for patients ranging from infants to senior adults.
Led by otologist T. Oma Hester, MD and senior audiologist Dr. Karen Moore, The Hearing and Balance Institute is a collaboration of dedicated hearing specialists that include doctorate or master’s-level audiologists who consult with board-certified ENT physicians to identify and provide the best solutions for those with even the most challenging conditions. In addition to conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations, the Institute’s audiologists offer hearing conservation advice and recommend and fit the latest technologies in hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
Balance disorders are also assessed and managed through a multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Hester, a team of board-certified ENT physicians, audiologists and therapist Dr. Rebecca English are available to treat a broad range of balance disorders. Dr. English is a balance rehabilitation specialist whose extensive training and practice in neurological and vestibular disorders includes general and post-concussive rehabilitation.
Charleston Ear, Nose & Throat Associates is South Carolina’s largest independent ENT medical group, serving patients throughout the Lowcountry from 10 locations.
