Hockey game to benefit injured police officer

  • Thursday, June 6, 2013

Police officers and firefighters will battle on the ice June 15.
The Enforcers Police Team will take on the Charleston Fire Team at 5 p.m. that Saturday at the Carolina Ice Palace. A portion of the proceeds will benefit injured North Charleston Police Officer Allen Cooke.
Pre and post game parties will also be held at Wild Wing Downtown with transportation provided to and from the game. Tickets are good for a free appetizer. Pre-game begins at 2 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased for $10 from the Wild Wing Downtown, from Chuck Hurst or Sean Reiter of the North Charleston Police Department, or at the door.
The proceeds will be split with CFD, but any tickets purchased at the door or from Hurst or Reiter go directly to Cooke.
