Rachel Cochran, Maria Emery, Joe Kennedy, Lee Kieseling, and Tony Strain have all recently joined the Summerville Trolley Road office of Carolina One Real Estate. Additionally, Heather Broadwell-Derexson will be working out of the company’s Main Street office.
Rachel Cochran is originally from Pickens, SC and has an Associate’s degree in Office Administration. She also has 7 years of experience working for Carmax in sales and customer service.
Maia Emery relocated to Charleston from Geneva, NY with a BA degree in Mathematics and a Teaching Certificate from Western Governors University. Emery previously was employed by the US Army Corps of Engineers and was also a mathematics instructor.
Joe Kennedy was born in Fremont, Ohio and studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cincinnati and Accounting at Ball State University. Kennedy was employed by Anheuser-Busch and Exide Technologies before deciding on a career in real estate.
Lee Kieseling has been a Realtor since 2001. Prior to moving to Charleston in 2005, Kieseling received her BA degree in Human Development and her M.Ed. from Lesley University in Boston, MA. In addition to real estate, Kieseling has been a teacher, a writer and an editor.
Tony Strain was born in Cuautepec, Hidalgo, Mexico and earned her Business Administration degree from ISEC University in Mexico City. Before moving to Charleston in 2011, Strain worked for Catholic Charities of Tennessee and for Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
Heather Broadwell-Derexson was born in Texas, but grew up in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Before joining Carolina One’s Summerville Main Street office, Broadwell-Derexson worked in the retail tourist and hospitality industry in Charleston and was a fitness instructor.
