Meet the Moultrie News’ summer intern

  • Thursday, July 4, 2013

Meet the new intern at the Moultrie News: Rob Snyder. Snyder is 20 years old and a born and raised Mount Pleasant native. He is currently a rising junior at Clemson University majoring in English with a minor in Sports Communication Studies. Snyder graduated from Bishop England High School in 2011.

Some things that interest him are deer hunting, creek fishing, traveling to Europe, all kinds of music and especially sports. This intern is a die-hard Clemson fan in all sports but most notably football. Snyder writes for the Clemson school paper, The Tiger, as a sports staff writer with the hopes to one day become editor. Another goal of his is to one day become a well-known beat writer or even a columnist in Sports Illustrated.
