Friendship Flotilla is a pro-Israel rally which takes place In Charleston once a year.
It was held last Sunday amid a downpour of rain. The faithful waited the wet weather out, which cleared to a beautiful blue, sunny sky.
Rabbi Yossi Refson, one of the organizers of the event said, “It’s a wonderful event, that gives an opportunity for people in the holy city to show their love for the holy land, in a fun, enjoyable and unified way.
“The fact that so many people came out despite the rain is a testimony to the love that our community has for Israel.”
