Hartmann and Bordiuk team up for championship

Summerville Country Club crowned winners for two big tournaments last month.
The club’s Men's Member-Member Tournament was held the weekend of July 13.
Gary Hartmann and David Bordiuk claimed the overall tournament championship with a score of 58. Runners up were Orin Parler and Rockie Bailey with a 61.
Mark Shaughnessy and Patrick Pye won the second flight with a 64 while Lee Ray and Tom Jeter carded a 64 to place second in the flight.
Johnny Leviner and Kenny Walker finished at 66 to win the third flight while Barry Connor and Clark Hunter carded a 66 to place second in the flight.
Dan Sweat and Jimmy Watson came in at 68 to win the fourth flight while Bryan Jordan and Ce Buddin finished at 69 to place second in the flight.
The Summerville High School Athletic Hall of Fame fundraiser golf tournament was held at the club on July 20.
Low gross winners with a 56 score were Lee Ray, Tom Jeter, Ben Jeter and Will Jeter (2013 inductee for tennis).
Low net winners were William Penn, Randal Slawson and Michael Gleaton.
The second place team was comprised of Harry Blake, Ed Johnson, Alonzo Middleton and Darryl Tucker. The third-place team was comprised of Austin Dutirieux, Will Davidson, Darren Simmons, and Jeff Roberts.
