Hundreds of Lowcountry residents pull out their safari hats every year and visit Cypress Gardens for the annual “Swamp Safari.” The event will feature a full schedule of exciting swamp adventures from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17.
“We dedicate this day to highlighting and celebrating the unique wildlife found in our local swamps,” Cypress Gardens Manager Heather Graham said. “Visitors will get an even closer look at the habits and habitat of some of their favorite reptiles, birds, animals and insects. Alligator feedings and dip-netting are among the most popular presentations.”
