The Summerville Family YMCA is hosting swim team try-outs for the Summerville Tidalwaves Fall Swim Team this month.
Tryouts are scheduled from 5-6:30 p.m. on Aug. 13-14 and Aug. 21-22 at the Oakrbook YMCA pool.
The team is open to swimmers age 5-18 who can swim one full length of the pool using either freestyle or front crawl as well as one full length using the backstroke. The fall season will run from Aug. 26 until Oct. 31.
Registration will be available after tryouts. The cost of the summer season is $135 for YMCA members and $190 for potential members.
Practices for the Summerville Tidalwaves will be Monday-Friday from 4-6 p.m. at the Oakbrook YMCA pool.
