Sarah Sauls Williams, 92 of North Charleston, SC and formerly of Ridgeland, SC passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at The Bridge of Charleston, North Charleston, SC.
She was born in Ridgeland, SC on July 23, 1921 to the late William Martin and Dora Tuten Sauls.
She is survived by her son, E. Mood Williams III of Summerville, SC; one daughter, Sally W. Thackston (Bruce) of Charleston, SC and seven grandchildren, Christopher Bruce Thackston (Tracy), Eric Mood Thackston (Kelly), Bryan Joel Thackston, Michael Mood Williams (Lori), and E. Park Williams (Tricia) and great grandchildren, Ella Rose Thackston and Julia Nichole Williams.
She was predeceased by her husband, E. Mood Williams Jr.; her son, John Martin Williams; brothers, John Theodore Sauls and William A. Sauls; sisters, Nell Sauls Ryan, Dorothy Sauls Simon, Daisy Sauls Pizskin and Edna Sauls Barnett.
Graveside Services were held 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in the Ridgeland Cemetery, Ridgeland, SC.  The family will receive friends beginning at noon at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland.  Memorial donations may be made in memory of Sarah Williams to the Francis Willis S.P.C.A., Highway 78, Summerville, SC  29483.
