The South Carolina injury lawyers at Joye Law Firm has announced that the firm and two of its attorneys have been recognized by separate legal peer-review organizations.
Attorneys Mark Joye and Ken Harrell have been included in The Best Lawyers in America 2014, an independent peer-review guide to excellence in the legal field. Additionally, Joye Law Firm has received a “Recommended” rating from Benchmark Plaintiff, which also named Mark Joye a “Local Litigation Star.”
“We at Joye Law Firm are honored by the recognition we have received from these two esteemed peer-review organizations,” Joye said. “We are very proud of our accomplishments, and we are especially proud of the difference we have been able to make in so many of our clients’ lives.”
The Best Lawyers in America, published by Woodard/White, Inc., of Aiken, uses peer surveys of nearly 50,000 attorneys nationwide to identify practicing lawyers who stand out in their fields.
“Best Lawyers is the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. A listing in Best Lawyers is widely regarded by both clients and legal professionals as a significant honor, conferred on a lawyer by his or her peers,” according to the Best Lawyers website.
“Knowing that our inclusion in Best Lawyers is the result of positive reviews from our colleagues in the legal field is especially gratifying,” Joye said.
Benchmark also uses peer reviews to select firms and individual attorneys for recognition. It limits its scope to litigators, which includes attorneys who take cases to court and represent clients in settlement negotiations and at trial.
Firms that achieve a “Recommended” status from Benchmark Plaintiff are identified in independent interviews with litigators on the state and national levels. Those who receive the “Local Litigation Star” designation are attorneys who are consistently described as reputable and effective by other lawyers and by their clients.
Both Joye and Harrell are also recognized as South Carolina Super Lawyers, hold Preeminent “AV” ratings from Martindale-Hubbell and “Superb” 10-out-of-10 ratings from AVVO.com. They have built a solid reputation for their tenacity, legal abilities and high level of client service.
