The ARK Flapjack Fundraiser
Saturday, September 21, 8am-10am
Flapjack Fundraiser to benefit The ARK, Alzheimer's Family Support Services is planned for Saturday. The cost is $5 per person (pancakes, sausage & drink). Tickets: may be purchased from CSU Psych Club (843-863-7150) or The ARK, (843-832-2357) or online at: www.TheARKofSC.org. The ARK is a nonprofit providing comprehensive services to families dealing with Alzheimer's and other memory disorders. for more information visit www.TheARKofSC.org.

Strive for 5
The Strive for 5 race to benefit the Summerville Miracle League is scheduled for Sept. 21 in Summerville. Preregistration for the 5K race is $25 and Race Day Registration is $30. Online registration is available at www.strictlyrunning.com and race packets can be picked up at Sports Plus Physical Therapy/Lowcountry Orthopaedics, located at 93-B Springview Lane, from 3-6 p.m. Sept. 19 and Sept. 20.
 
Coastal Center Cup
The Parents and Guardians Association of the Coastal Center, an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 1982, will host its second annual Coastal Center Cup Golf Tournament at the Westcott Plantation Golf Club on Sept. 28. Tee time is 9 a.m. The registrtion fee is $75 per player or $300 per foursome and includes green fee, cart fee, bag valet, cart signs, scorecards, scoreboards and a Lowcountry shrimp boil immediately following the tournament.  Contact Richard at 312-4222 or rsgreg@homesc.com for more information.
