‘Hug A Media Person Day’ at Summerville Miracle League

The Summerville Miracle League would like to invite all media people (TV, radio, magazine, newspaper) to be recognized at the fall season opening game on Saturday, Sept. 21. The league would like to say thanks for the hard work and dedication it takes to keep our community informed and entertained.
Opening day will include the singing of our National Anthem by recording artist Karoline Rhett† www.Karonlinemusic.com
The invocation will be given by Jen Williams, pastor Ashley Ridge Church. the first pitch will be thrown by the honorable Mayor Bill Collins with the Thank you to the Media at 9 a.m. and again at 10 a.m.
The SML field is located at 615 S. Laurel Street, Summerville. Parking available next door at St. Johns Catholic. Games start after opening ceremony.
The Summerville Miracle League is a 501 (c) 3 non profit, baseball league for mentally and physically challenged youth and adults. All are welcome to play regardless of the disability or severity. The program is free, with each player receiving a uniform, team picture, and award. Each is assigned a buddy to play along with them. Over 200 players are on the SML roster.
