Emily Suzanne Mangum of Pageland, S.C. and Samuel Blake Edwards of Summerville, S.C. were married June 29, 2013 at Zion United Methodist Church in Pageland.
Reverend Clyde Buckner officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Mangum of Pageland. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Hewitt of Cheraw, S. C.; and Mrs. Lillie S. Mangum of Anderson, S.C. and the late Joe T. Mangum of Pageland.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Edwards of Summerville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Rachel H. Hedrick of Boiling Springs, N.C. and the late Karl H. Hedrick Sr.; and
the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel David Floyd of Cayce, S.C.
The bride wore an organza ball gown with vertical ruffle detailing on the skirt and a ruched strapless bodice. The wedding gown featured a chapel train.
The maid of honor was Miss Courtney Boyd and the Matron of Honor was Mrs. Currie Brainard.
Serving as bridesmaids were Mrs. Courtney McSwain and Miss Hannah Taylor. The flowergirls were Emmie and Ellie Edwards.
Serving as best men were Paul Edwards and Fred Edwards. Groomsmen were Braden Gerhardt, Matt Patterson, Stephen Strickland and Michael Wilson.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Central High School in Pageland and a 2009 graduate of Clemson University. She is employed with Concrete Primary School in Powdersville, S.C.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Summerville High School and a 2006 graduate of Clemson University. He is employed with Powdersville High School in Powdersville.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and will make their home in Clemson, S.
