Incident report details: The complainant told police that when he left for work at 7:30 a.m., his washing machine was sitting on the porch. He is in the process of moving in to his home. When he returned around 6:45 p.m., the machine was gone. A neighbor told his daughter that she had seen a white male in a tan or yellow old beat-up pick-up truck in the area and knocking on his door. The man then went into the back yard and took the machine.

Incident report details: The victim left on vacation on September 8 and returned on September 11. When he returned he noticed his back door had been forced open. The only thing missing was a black Sentry fireproof, portable safe from the closet in the spare bedroom. The safe contained $28,000. The damage to the back door was estimated at $80 and the safe was worth $50. Deputies took fingerprints and, as they were leaving, notice a pickaxe by the back door that had paint and wood, matching the back door, on it. It was entered into evidence.

Items stolen: 17 road construction signs
Total value: $5,950
Incident report details: The construction manager for Eadie’s Construction reported to police that an employee had left 17 road construction signs behind the CVS store in a trench box. When the employee returned to use the signs, they were gone. The signs included Road Construction – 500, 1000, 1500 – feet; signs with men working on them, road work ahead and flag man ahead.
